Eric Haakenson

I have a mdb with a basic contacts calls form from built-in
wizards. I added a few fields with lookups & started
receiving this msg. I have not done anything complicated.

Please explain in detail since I'm not an expert in Access
or VB.

Please reply .cc to my email address.
TIA

Error Msg "The object doesn't contain the Automation object
'Call Listing Subform.'

Msg Details:
"You tried to run a Visual Basic procedure to set a
property or method for an object. However, the component
doesn't make the property or method available for
Automation operations.

Check the component's documentation for information on the
properties and methods it makes available for Automation
operations."

That's pretty hard to troubleshoot without seeing your code.

If you want to post your code, please post only the relevant snippet -
the line which uses "Call Listing Subform" and the procedure it's in.

BTW, the rule of thumb in newsgroups is "you ask here - we answer here".
