Error messages - Blue Screen of Death

Hi,

I have a Windows bluescreen of death error code it is as follows:

0x000000ed(0x894fa900,0xc0000006,0x00000000,0x00000000)

My computer will not turn on it says it stopped process to protect my
computer. I had a reboot disk, and driver & settings disk, but can't get into
windows to run them..What can I do?? I can't get into anything but the f1-f12
buttons that actually do things..Am very frustrated..Please help..

newsgroups and it may take up to a day or more before you receive an answer
to your post.

If you can get to the recovery console or command prompt you could try the
command "chkdsk r" to try and fix file system errors. Also you can try the
commands FIXBOOT and FIXMBR.

1. Tap F8 right at startup, and go into Safe Mode.
From the list of options, use UP arrow to go to Safe Mode, hit ENTER.
Then start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore

If that does not work:
2. right at power on, look at bottom of screen to go into BIOS/Setup (F1,
F2, DELETE) or Boot Menu(F12) to change the Boot Order.
Make the CD/DVD Drive 1st in boot Order, insert XP disk, reboot; choose to
reinstall XP, or use Recovery Console
