error message

I have XP P. Soon after I log on this error message appears "Windows must now restart because the remote procedure call (RPC) terminated unexpectedly . The computer then shuts down and starts to reboot and so on and on. Need help badly to get this monkey off my system.

It's always wise to search this group, before posting. "RPC" and "remote"

Your computer is infected with a virus. Go to microsoft Windows update and make sure you have installed the latest patches. Also run an anti virus to clean out any viruses you may have. I had the same problem two weeks ago
