error message

i am trying to copy mp3s from a cd that from one computer on to another
computer, i have been able to do this in the past on the same computer but
now all of a sudden its giving me problems, it is telling me there is an
cyclic redundancy error, can somebody help me out, its also giving me this
error when i try to play some songs in windows media player
