Error Message when trying to publish

I am using FP2003, and recently after making a new page to publish I am
getting the error message "server error - cannot close file
'.pagename.htm.tmp".
What is this ".tmp" thing? I have gone to the Microsoft Knowledgebase
looking for a similar problem but can only find one in
FP2002. It states to find the FrontPageTemp folder and delete it, but after
following instructions I cannot find such a folder.
I also did a search of my C drive looking for the folder and it is not
there.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

That error message is usually a result of running out of space oat the
publish destination. Check with your host if your allocated web space
is full.

There were no hidden temp files and only 7 hidden Cache files.... nothing
changed. Ronx stated maybe it is my server and I am using too much space. I
have been having a lot of trouble lately with it and have many duplicate
files in duplicate places, maybe that is the problem. Thanks I will check
with my host.

Ok, My host is advising me to uninstall FP and clean up the FP extensions
then reinstall. Can anyone tell me how to clean up the extensions that are
not cleaned up with the uninstall?

Your host is nuts.

Like Ronx said, have you checked the status of your server space??

Ronx is the man (or woman) !! After dealing with my hosts tech support all
afternoon, I tried FTPing and was told my limit was exceeded. Deleted a few
old pages and things are running fine again. Thanks for all the help.
