error message when trying to open IE 6

Within the last few days when I try to open IE 6 it gives
an error message. I will copy the error message:EXPLORER
caused an invalid page fault in
module TPS108.DLL at 017f:01af04d6.

An error has occurred in Internet Explorer. Internet
Explorer will now close. If you continue to experience
problems, please restart your computer.

The only way I could get to the internet I had to got back
to using IE 5 (origianl one on my computer)

I was given some advice to do a pest control download, but
I am very confused with that too.

My other problem is when I am using IE 5 my outlook
express address book doesn't work. If using IE 6 the
outlook express address book does work.

Does anyone have any ideas what is going on and if there
is something I can check to get my computer back to
normal.
