Error message when recording to DVD

New movie maker user need help! I burnt a DVD of a movie I created with WMM,
worked great! The second movie I made gave me this message when I said 'burn
to DVD': Drive_NEC DVDRW9(D:) does not contain the appropriate type of
recordable DVD disk, To continue, insert a supported recordable DVD disk into
the drive, and then click OK. Except for making a longer movie this time,
everything else is the same as the first one that worked. I've tried other
DVD's (same brand) and still get same message. Any suggestions? Thanks,

I'm using Sonic, it came bundled with the Dell. I checked out your websites
and tried breaking it down into smaller clips. Was 48min. I broke it down
into three different clips and only one will burn to dvd with the previous
mentioned error message. I've gone all thru the pix and audio clips and can't
find anything wrong (or different from the others).

Sonic software can be quirky..... with one 48 minute video you should be
fine.

Try saving it to a hard-drive disc project to get past all the transcoding
steps and have a disc-based playable DVD.... it you get to that point, you
can open the project and burn a disc. Doing it in these two steps will help
isolate the issue.
