error message: the page cannot be displayed

up untill a few days ago IE 6 sp1 was fine & I could get
into all necessary web pages. Now for some reason I
cannot access 1 web site: www.citibank.com.au . I keep
getting "The page cannot be displayed" on both my desktop
& laptop computer.
I have tried everything under tools/internet options with
the advice from various isp help desks to no avail.

I dont understand how all of a sudden 1 site that I have
accessed previously for about two years is no longer
available.

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS, reboot.

Can you connect if you had the "http://" protocol?
If yes then you have been hacked.

Verify the following entries are correct in the Registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\URL\DefaultPre
fix]
@="http://"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\URL\Prefixes]
"ftp"="ftp://"
"gopher"="gopher://"
"home"="http://"
"mosaic"="http://"
"www"="http://"
