Error message problem

Simon

I have a powerpoint file and seem to have corrupted the charts somehow.
When I go edit data on the chart - chart in Microsoft excel opens -
powerpoint closes and asks if I wish to send an error report to Microsoft.

I have investigated a lot of way possible solutions, (around saving ,
closing down, renaming, sending to someone else) and got nowhere. The only
thing I have found is to paste the tables for the charts back into a similar
powerpoint presentation and recreate them.

Please help!

Office 2007?

Open PPT, click the Office Button, choose PPT Options, then Resources. Run
Diagnostics.
