Error message on startup

[rdusso]

I get an error message on startup "msdtc.exe has generated errors and will
be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program" Click OK and
programs run normally. Cannot find this file on the computer. Also when
shut down is requested, "shut down",computer re-boots. How can I correct
this problem? Thanks for any help.

Check your Event Viewer:
- Do you see any errors that relate or coincide with this msdtc.exe error
(check application and system logs)? If so, paste them in your response.

Note: sometimes this error can be alleviated by reinstalling TCP/IP.
