Error Message "Data error(cyclic redundancy check)"

My flask drive has this error message that pops up saying " Data error
(cyclic redundancy check). Has explain early on one of the messages
that I read stating that it is a hardware problem, I'd like to know if
there is a way the this could be fixed? If there is a way how do I go
about this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please help because I don't think I can afford another flash drive at
this very moment when I rerally need to use it badly!!!!!!!!

One meaning of the message is that the flash drive has become corrupted.
A solution would be to re-format the flash drive. Format it to FAT32 and
it should be as good as new. Of course, everything that is presently in
the flash drive would be erased.
