How much memory is free when you open Word (check via Task Manager). How
much space is left on each of the partitions of your hard drive?

Hi BaoDuong,

That error message is sort of a 'fall through' one. Sometimes Word shows it when it doesn't have a specific error message for a
situation.

It could be the similar situation from previous versions where Word is having trouble communicating with a specific printer driver.
Lexmark/Dell drivers, for example, may need updating before they'll work well with Office 2007 apps.

If you select a different default printer and restart Word do you get the same issue? It can also be a corrupted font, use of a
language setting not yet available in Office, an add-in conflict.

If the printer change does not work, then before starting Word use
Start=>Search and remove files found with the filename search string of

~$*.*;*.tmp

then starting Word and/or starting Word in Office safe mode (hold ctrl key when restarting Word).

Hi Bob,
You are a master!
Based on your suggestion, I researched the update driver for my printer
(Canon MP780) but the vendor doesn't have the new one yet. So I re-installed
the driver for my printer. Then I rebooted my computer. Now Word can detect
the printer and acept it. The issue has completely resolved.
Again, I want to say I'm quite appreciated your assistance.
