Error message after converting

I get all the way through saving my video as DVD it converts the files and
then sends an message saying it encountered an error. It does not give you
an option to send the error message out. It just stops and you have to click
cancel. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Can you tell us your movie files that you are using.
Do you have media centre edition, which has built in dvd authoring?
What length in time is the movie?
Is your disc compatible with your burner?

I am using pictures scanned in and/or from my digital camera.
I have made DVD's on this software before, but for some reason wont now.
My movie is almost 20 minutes with music, video effects, and transitions.
I have used these discs before 8x DVD+R
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
