error message 1706

Due to the Blaster worm, and downloading the corrections,
MS word does not work correctly. I attempted to re-
install MS office to repair it. But, I get a message that
says "try to find the installation package DATA.MSI in a
folder from which you can install MS office 2000 SR-1
premium", which is the same CD I originally installed it
on. It then gives me an error message 1706.

Can any one please send me information on how I can
correct this problem?
