I am experiencing the above error message "SVC Host, exe Application Error"
"The instruction at 0x745f2780 referenced memory at 0x00000000 the memory
could not be read" when I start up my computer, together with a second that
says " Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and
needs to close".
These have only occurred since Windows auto update on 10 Jan 07. It
intermittently prevents me logging on to my ISP, I have contacted them and
they advise that there is no problem with the connection or their site.
I had a similar problem in Dec 06 following Windows update and following
nuerous calls to Dell, Yahoo and Microsoft it appeared to resolve itself
following receipt of further updates.
Help please.
