Error in upgrading the service pack

I am trying to upgrade the service pack and keep getting a
message that says I have a winn system 32 open and I need
to close it before I continue downloading. I have closed
all my programs and my virus program. I don't know what
else to close.

Try installing from a safe mode boot.
