I am having the same problem when i start up Outlook and receive the "not a
valid addin -- outlvba.dll". I went through the step and there is no check
box in front of the Outlook backup add-in. How else can I solve this problem?
Thanks,
Jeff

I obviously need to clean my glasses. Outlvba.dll isn't the backup add-in
(outbak.dll is), so it's not surprising. Have you tried Help>Detect and
Repair?
As suggested above, I ran Detect and Repair from the Help menu in Outlook, and it fixed the problem.
