error evaluating check constraint - what does this mean?

I'm using the latest office package, I'm new to access and have started
creating a data base - when I go to fill in the data in the relevant fields,
once one line is complete I cannot move to the next line and the error
message: 'error 'error evaluting CHECK constraint' in the validation rule'
pops up and I can't get rid of it... Ive tried the help in access and no luck
- please help!!

Open the table you are trying to insert records to, check the fields and the
table properties for any validation rule.

If you are trying to insert records using a form, then open the form in
design view and check each field for validation rule.

ive looked through the table in design form and all the 'validation rule'
boxes are blank, but it still wont work... unsure how to proceed

Did you check for validation rules in the table properties, not only the
fields properties.

Ok, well i'm having the same problem, and i checked all validation rules in
the table and the fields in the form too, and they are all blank, so why am i
still having the same problem??? this is really crap and the so called "help"
is absolutely useless
