Error Deleting file or folder:

Hello,

When I attempt to delete a file from a network directory
from my XP Client, I received the following messages:

Error Deleting file or folder:

It is being use by another person or program. Close any
programs that might be using the file and try again.

To resolve this issue, I have checked my permission on my
network folder (curretnly set to full control) and no
other program/person is using this file.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this
issue.

(e-mail address removed), try to use a registery cleaner. It might have been used by another program that you have uninstalled but the thingy might be still in the registery. currently I am useing Registry First Aid. Cost me bout $30. Hope that helped.

This is actually a quite common error (don't know why, but it happens to
lots of folks on our network). Try MOVING the file to somewhere else
(like your C drive), then delete it there.
