Error connecting VS to the pocketpc

Hi all,

I've a problem I cannot understand.
All worked fine up to some days ago.
Now, the ActiveSync works perfectly (3.7.1) and I can browse the pocketPc.

When I run a PPc application with VisualStudio it tell me an error
message that ask me to be sure that the PocketPc in connected to the Pc
(and it is: ActiveSync views it) because VS cannot establish the connection.

Someone experienced the same?

Thank you

Is there difference in behavior between F5 and Ctrl-F5?

No, it's the same.

I read in the status bar of VS "Connecting..." (It may be inappropriate:
I translate from Italian) but it does nothing.
After some seconds it pop a messagebox with "Distribution error. Continue?"

I click "No", and the output is something like (I translate :) )

(It's a solution with 2 projects named PocketPC and PalmPacking)

------ Start generating: Project: PocketPC, Configuration: Debug Pocket
PC ------

Preparing resources...
Updating references...
Main compiling...
Generating satellite assembly...
Ready to distribute PocketPC

------ Start generating: Project: PalmPaking, Configuration: Debug
Pocket PC ------

Preparing resources...
Updating references...
Main compiling...
Generating satellite assembly...
Ready to distribute PalmPaking

------ Start distributing: Project: PocketPC, Configuration: Debug
Pocket PC ------

------ Start distributing: Project: PalmPaking, Configuration: Debug
Pocket PC ------

Distributing in Device Pocket PC... using Connection transport TCP

Error: Impossible to establish a connection. Be sure that the device is
fisically connected to the develop computer.

---------------------- Operation completed ----------------------

Generation: 2 completed, 0 not done, 0 ignored
Distribution: 1 completed, 1 not done, 0 ignored

I cannot understand the last line: how can it distribute one package and
not the other?

Thank you

You might want to try resetting your device

An Hw reset?
Because I tryied with 2 PocketPC and I got the same, I tryed also to do
a Sw reset :(

Can I try a repair of the VS installation?

It can be something in the net resources? (Today I found a an "Emulator"
card installed, but I removed it because it was in conflict with the net
card)

Thanx
