error: a name is already in use....

after i install my 10/100 PCI networking card in XP home
and check it's device status under device manager it
say's "a name is already in use either as service or
service display name..." something like that, what seems
to be the problem??? is there a problem in my system or my
networking card???

any input is highly appreciated....
