What I can suggest is you must be able to telnet port 1723. If not, you need to double-check the configuration and make sure the port 1723 forward to the VPN server.

Bob,
I have checked, checked and rechecked the configuration, at least
everything I know to check. No, can not ping the VPN server.
I asked about that and it is because there is a firewall thus not
pingable(if that is a word).

Hi,
I am getting the error 800: unable to establish VPN connection. I have
always been able to VPN to my workplace and now I cannot. I asked our
network guy about it and he said that I do not show up on the server as
having connected so something wrong on my computer. What can I look
at? What could be my problem?
