Error 550 Sending Mail

I have a client that is using MSOutlook XP. There is no
Exchange server involved. Only eMail service provider.
When attempting to send one message to multiple addresses
we get the following error message:
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended
recipients.

Subject: Test Message
Sent: 1/9/2004 8:41 AM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'(e-mail address removed)' on 1/9/2004 8:41 AM
550 not local host domain.com, not a gateway

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Is this user set up to authenticate to the SMTP server for outbound mail?

That appears to be a problem on "(e-mail address removed)"'s end.

Brian.Tillman is the name, smiths-aerospace.com is the domain.

I don't speak for Smiths, and Smiths doesn't speak for me.
