Error 3043 Internal disk or drive failure

Hi Folks

I have a user who periodically gets the following :- "Error 3043 Internal
disk or drive failure" when working on a particular Access db. The db is
located on a network drive and I have already compacted and repaired with no
success. The user is also reporting no other difficulties working on other
types of documents from the same drive so I dont think it is a network/drive
issue.

Any ideas ?

OS: Win XP Prof SP1a running Access 2003
