error 1606

when trying to uninstall a program, after upgrading from windows me to windows xp, I received error 1606 "could not access network location ::\documents and settings\my name\send to". I found how to solve a similar problem, my error message does not say "common administrative tools.all users
PLEASE HELP!!

Mistiz, I have a similar problem, in that it doesn't fit the posted solution for the Error 1606 on Microsoft KB. Hopefully someone will have an answer that addresses the different messages. I am hoping it is a simple REGEDIT solution
