Error 1001 Save Dump

Roger Clifton

Hey there,
I have a W2K ADV SVR that has crashed a few times, at
random intervals of the day/night. The following error is
listed below. The server is also running SQL 2000 SP3a.

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck
was: 0x000000b8 (0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000,
0x00000000). Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195]. A dump was
saved in: C:\WINNT\MEMORY.DMP.

If anyone could respond to this message, it would be much
appreciated. Also, if you have any further queries, please
feel free to contact me.
Thanks in advance!
Rodge

This indicates that an illegal operation was attempted by a delayed
procedure call (DPC) routine.

A wait operation, attach process, or yield was attempted from a DPC
routine. This is an illegal operation.

The stack trace will lead to the code in the original DPC routine that
caused the error. Open a support case with Microsoft and they can debug the
memory dump.
