Error 0x80070057 - What is this??

Using Outlook 2002. When I click Send/Receive, I get:

Task 'www.mail.live.com: Folder:Inbox Synchronizing headers.' reported error
(0x80070057) : 'An unknown error has occurred. Please save any existing work
and restart the program.'

What is this?

I have set the e-mail address to www.mail.live.com. SPA (Secure Password
Authentication) is on.

I have saved work and restarted the program as told to do, but no help from
that.

Why and how to resolve?

John.

Sorry, I was suppose to say, when download Outlook 2003, Microsoft says that
my office is not genuine (FYI: This is NOT true!). My apologies!

Has it ever worked? Does OE work?

Where did you download Outlook 2003 from?
