error 0x80070005

I am getting error 0x80070005 access denied in Windows 2000 Server when
trying to update the definitions for Defender. What am I doing wrong?

Hello snowball,

Try this, uncheck "System Configuration" in the Windows Defender Real-Time
protection options under "Tools - General Settings
