erebates moneymaker

Well I have tried this beta and Ad-ware and they sweep and
still I get pop-ups. I think Erebates moneymaker is one
of them - anyone know hwo to find it and get rid of it??

This product is not working!!! But neither is the free
version of add-ware which will find it delete it and it
pops up again. But virus software which is coproate and
up todate finds nothing either.

You would think that MS would want to know about this
ASAP. Basically my computer which has all the latest
software has been hijacked

Give this a shot ... Show hidden files, folders, and system files

Scan the system with MSAS in normal Windows mode. When it's finished and
it has removed the objects found, close MSAS.
Restart the system to Safe Mode: http://snipurl.com/dmbp

Now scan at least once more with MSAS.
IF it finds anything, allow MSAS to Remove what it finds.
Now do another scan while still in Safe Mode.

Restart the system to normal Windows mode. Is it clean now ?

IF Steve's procedure doesn't help then:

Get HijackThis.exe from
http://tomcoyote.org/hjt/hjt199//HijackThis.exe

Save it to C:\hjt (new folder) then Open it and select
Scan and Save Log. Note where you saved the log then
send it to me as an attachment.
