Equations should have variables in italics

Many publications use italics for variables and plain for function names,
etc. This should be an option in MS Word equations (rather than having to
apply it to each variable every time it is used).

Hi JL,

When you insert an equation click on the launcher on the lower part of the Tools area and click on the 'Recognized Functions'
choice to add functions you do not wish to have italicized.

This article has been a bit more helpful than Word's help file in walking through some of the less visible features of the new Word
2007 Equation Editor :)
