Hi Texgamer,
Did you reinstall the game from scratch after changing
your OS version from ME to XP? The system variables
changed when you did that, and could cause this issue.

|i just installed XP pro on to my WinME system and now when i try torun thew EQ patcher all the files get dumped into my user
setting folder instead of the EQ folder. I am new to XP and am clueless and could use a bit of direction on this. So far all help
groups at MS and EQ have nothing remotely similar listed that I have been able to find. Any one have a fix or a hint as to what can
be done besides down loading the compelete game every time there is a patch.
