Epson R2400 ink cartridge capacity?

Does anyone know the capacity in ml of an Epson R2400 ink cartridge? I
am wondering how much more expensive it is to operate than a Stylus Pro
4800 with 110 or 220 ml cartridges.
Thanks for any info,

I'm assuming the cartridges will be about the same size as the 2200, and
they are about 10-12ml. They shut down with about 2-3 ml left in them.
But also keep in mind each time you replace one of the 2200/2400
cartridges, ALL the cartridges are purged, so a lot of ink is wasted, a
LOT more by percentage than would be with a 110/220 ml cartridge which
you will replace only once in a much greater while. Also, the 4800
basically uses a CIS with hoses, and it may not require any purging to
keep air out of the heads if designed correctly.

The two place where more ink may be lost with the 4800 are:

1) If you need to switch between cartridges (I can't recall if the 4800
offers two different types of black ink or not (photo and matte) and if
they are all installed or you have to exchange them). (I know it will
use the K3 ink set).

2) If you have to remove and purge the whole system dry for some reason,
in which case all the ink in the heads and tubes is dumped (a lot of ink).

3) The 2400 will likely have internal waste ink pads which will require
costly service foe replacement when required, the 4800 may use a self
contained and replaceable waste ink unit (not sure, something for you to
research). These are usually "chipped" just like the ink cartridges,
and aren't cheap, but likely cheaper than the service required on the
smaller printers.

4) The 4800 will probably have 3rd party inks more available for it, if
not refill inks (the large cartridges are usually easy to refill, but
the 4800 will have chipped versions, I'm sure, and I don't know of a
resetter exists for it yet).

Lastly, have you seen the 4000? You need to rent another house just to
fit it and I'm sure the 4800 will be no smaller.

Sounds to me that these printers are pieces of shit no matter how could
the results may be.
