Epson Lx300 printer problem

Please assist with the following printer problem.
When connecting an Epson LX-300+ printer to a windows XP
computer, the accounting program prints an extra blank
page after every page printed, using an accounting
program.
The same accounting program prints fine if the LX-300 is
connected to a Windows 98 computer.

Please advise how to fix this problem

Control Panel Printers and faxes right click on printer. Properties
Advanced Separator Page. Delete it.
