Entry Point Not Found

I have a new drive and cloned it from my old drive, now I get this error
message: msascui.exe entry point not found. The procedure entry point can
not be located in the dynamic link library kernel32.dll.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still have the same problem. Any
thoughts on what might be wrong?

You mean you tried to re-install Windows Defender, right? But have you
checked your system files using "sfc /scannow" from a command prompt with
your Windows DVD mounted from an admin userid? Kernel32.dll is the most
important Microsoft Windows Kernel, functionally addressing most of the
windows functions that are linked to this DLL, if it got corrupted you'll
have major problems.

OS? What utility did you use to clone? Were you cloning an active system?
Have you identified any other problems (non Windows Defender)?

software to clone the drive. I was not doing anything during the clone it
was done at startup. Yes other applications have been effected, Outlook
(2of4 profiles) and my video monitor software.

I've used the Seagate cloning software (several years ago) and I also had
some anomalies. What the vendor doesn't adequately warn you about is
shutting down as many processes as you can before initiating the cloning
process. So what does that really mean? Things like Windows Defender run as
Services. What I recommend is using Administrative Tools and stopping and
turning off Services for Defender, shutting down your firewall and anti-virus
programs and then their respective Services and so on. Make sure all
programs in the system tray are closed. Keep good notes so that you can turn
