Entry point not found error

Keeper Nott

When ever I try and boot up windows 2000 professional I
get the error

STOP: c0000139 {Entry point not found}
The producture entry point
RtActiveActivationcontextUnsafeFast could not be located
in the dynamic link library ntdll.dll

I found some support on microsofts knowledge base but it
only applies to an popup box with the error while the
computer is running. This one occurs while im booting the
system. I just reinstalled SP4 and did a crital update on
the computer and on the reboot it stoped working. I
cannot bootup in safe mode to do anything either, I
simply get the same error.

Anyoen know whats going on??

If you chose to archive the files when you installed Service Pack 4, you can
follow the steps in Knowledge Base article 825062 Service Pack 4 Permits You
to Remove the Service Pack by Using the
(http://support.microsoft.com/?id=825062) from the Windows 2000 Recovery
Console. Did you install the Service Pack and update with real time
anti-virus software running?
