entering new product key for WindowsXP

Mike Vandeman

Hi,

In Vista or Windows 7 (beta or RC1) it is easy to enter a new product key,
in my experience.

Is there an easy way to enter a new product key for WindowsXP?

Thanks.

When I installed Windows 7 RC I entered the product key by typing it
into the box provided. I didn't think that was such a burden. Was there
an easier way?

Maybe the question being asked is how to *change* the product key?

If so, don't you think the OP would have said that, rather than
something else? I mean, really, why would someone ask a question to
which they don't want the answer? Or why would someone ask the wrong
question, hoping it would produce the answer they want? (Unless they're
Republican, that is.)
