ensuring compatability across different versions

Jeff

I've created a collection of presentations, which I need to distribute
throughout our organisation. They've been creaetd in Powerpoint 2003, but I
know for sure that not eveyone is running that version of the software. We
may have people running 2007 - or 97!

Is there likely to be any compatability problems across these versions? The
presentatons contain nothing but text and a single jpg logo image, so
nothing fancy. Is there anything I could/should do to ensure that the
presentations can be viewed by everyone in the way that I prepared them?
(I've already embedded the font). They need to be sent as ppt not pps.

Thanks!

If you're using simple text, you should be fine. From 2003 back, you'll loose
certain types of transitions and animations.

.... and in addition to Sandy: Make sure that the font you use for the text
is not too "exotic". Prefer Arial, Times New Roman, Tahoma, or Verdana. Most
PC users will have them on their machines. In mixed environments with Macs,
prefer one of the first two (because of readability I prefer Arial).

Best regards,
Ute
