Enforce Referential Integrity-MS Access Database

Hello,

I am a little new to Databases and at the moment I'm creating a database with a one-to-many relationship. But, I'm a little confused to what happens if I don't check the box for 'Enforce Referential Integrity'?So, what exactly is that? And what happens if I don't check it.

And what is meant by 'Database structure'?

I hope someone will be able to help.
