I have folloving in my event log:

potentially unwanted software.

is this a threat ? and what action has been takan against this "instance of
spyware" ?
the program spupdsvc.exe is Microsoft's Update RunOnce Service, so whats't
going on?

I would not say it is a bug per-se, but more of an event which states that
we detected an unknown program and logged it for your use. In AntiSpyware,
we would throw a blue toast and tell the user there was nothing that can be
done. We heard from many users that we should not show the toast
notification if there is nothing that can be done. In defender, we log an
event to the event log which is what you are seeing.
