End Program Window

Each time I attempt to shut down my computer, a window
appears, "End Program hpcmpmgr.exe". It informs me that
click on Close Program Now could result is lost
information. I assume that some program is running in the
background. I've disabled anti virus and pop up blocker
prior to shutting down but the End Program still appears.
It does not seem to affect the computer's general
operations. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

A Googlee search on hpcmpmgr.exe turns up several hits, including
