Enclosure compatible with SATA II drives?

Does anybody know if there are any external enclosures that support
SATA2/SATAII/SATA300 drives. In particular, a seagate (500GB or 750GB)
SATA300 drive. I have done extensive searching, and am unable to find
any enclosure that definitively says that it will work with SATA II
drives.

I have come across several that say they only work with SATA drives up
to 500gb (and in a couple of those cases, I wrote the manufacturer and
received replies that they really DO have a 500gb maximum (not just
marketing blurb -- actually a limitation of the chipset), and that they
do not support SATA 2 drives.

Thank you!

www.span.com in the UK will help. (Not to be confused with scan.co.uk)

Pretty stupid to look for SATA 3Gb/s in the first place.
Size has nothing to do with SATA versions either.

all of our SAS enclosures suport them wheather they're SAS/SATA-FC,
SAS/SATA-SAS or just SAS JBODs
so you'd probably be better off looking for SAS enclosures (cause
you can put a SATA drive in a SAS slot, just not the other way around)
