Enabling macros in Word

Guest

I created a template with multiple macros in it and saved it to disk. I want
to use this template on another computer, but I keep getting an error saying
the macros in the project have been disabled. The template was created as
norma.dot, and saved under a different name.dot.

I have tried reconfiguring Word to be sure that visual basic is turned on,
etc. One help screen says to open the file again with "enable macros" but no
explanation of how that is done.

Please help.

On any computer where you want to run the macros, you need to go to
Tools>Macro>Security and set it to medium, then exit and reopen Word, OR you
can put a check next to the option to trust installed templates and add-ins,
and store your template in the startup path for Word on that machine (to
determine the startup path, Tools>Options>File Locations>Startup).
