"enable macros" -- how to get rid of the message?

I continue to get the message, "The macros in this project are diasbled -
please refer to online help or documentatin of the host to determine how to
enable macros." I've tried to perform those functions, without success.
Anyone know how to GET RID of this message?

what functions did you perform?

Either digitally sign the macros and trust the signature or set macro
security to low (NOT recommended) - setting security to medium will present
a dialog each time you open the program requiring you to enable or disable
the macros and is recommended over using low. Change the settings from the
tools, macros, security menu.
