Hi Folks-
I'm new to XP. Maybe someone can guide me through this.
My backup strategy involves using Drive Image to create image backups of
my various partitions. I try to keep each image small enough to fit on
a single CD whenever possible.
Since switching over to XP I've noticed the amount of used space on each
partition goes up, way up, "inexplicably." The explanation turned out
that windows put a "System Volume Information" folder on each partition,
which contains hundreds of MB worth of backup/restore data.
Normally I don't care; maybe that helps things be robust. Great.
But right before I do backups, I want to flush all that out. How do I
accomplish this?
Thanks in advance!
Marc
