Embedding narration for a PP presentation

I have organized a self running presentation in PP "including a narration"
for the whole show that is intended to be presented on the web, I understand
that such narration should be "embedded" in this case, to travel as part of
my presentation anywhere in the world right? I have finished the whole thing
but I never saw any command to "embed" the narration. My questions are: Is
embedding such narration the right approach instead of linking it?, and if
so; How do I embed it now that I
have everything finished?. The presentation is approx. 40 Mb, in PP 2003,
I'm using Windows XP professional.

This is the first time I use PP and I'm in the process of learning, I really
appreciate any suggestions.

Cheers

What are you trying to embed? the only sound file that gets embedded are .WAV
files, all others are linked. You may want to look here about putting your
presentation on the web

Thanks for the tips and references Michael; so from what you are saying if I
don't have any music or background, all the narration is already linked?, I
never used the option "link the narration" during the process, doest it do
it automatically?...if not; how can I link the whole narration now? I"m using
Power Point 2003.
If I don't have any music then I don't have to modify the HTML code for the
sound right?

If it is a wav file, and the file size is less than what you have set in Tools,
Options, General, Link sounds greater... (max 5000kb) it will be inserted. all
other files including wav which exceed whatever is set will automatically be
linked.

If it is just one narration file then you might want to look at
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00303.htm PowerPoint on the web treats sounds
a little differently than when it is not an html file.
