Embedded Video File (mpg)

I have embedded a video in my page and it runs correctly (i uploaded it and
tested it live to make sute) but at the end of the video, the "video" box
becomes a black rectangle. I want to have a picture (static) fade in or
appear to cover the video black box once it has finshed playing. I am stuck
- I have no idea what type of code is needed to make that (or a similar and
easier) idea work. Please help!

How did you create the video? You could add that information in using that
program.

You would add that as a video effect in a video editor like Adobe Premiere
Elements (Lite version of the full product Adobe Premiere) or even Windows
Movie Maker.
