Embedded objects (Pictures)

Until recently I have been using Microsoft Photo Editor, which comes with
Windows XP, to store JPG photos, for each record, in a database using a Bound
Object Frame in Access 2003.

Using MSPhotoeditor3.0 allowed the picture to be shown. Now I am using MS
Office Picture Manager I can only get a 'package' shown.

Searches of Access 2003 & Picture Manager Options/Help/Knowledge items have
not helped me. I would appreciate help/advise on how to get the photo not the
package to show.

You will need to ensure that MS PhotoEditor(or other Graphics app that can
function as an OLE Image server) is installed and registered on your system
to display the Image file types in question. MS Office Picture Manager DOES
NOT function as an OLE Server for images.
