Embedded Document in Word

I too have an embedded file that is stuck in my opening
Word 2000 blank page. Each time I open Word the document
is there. It calls itself Document1 - Microsoft Word,
and each time I click on the "blank page" to get new
blank page I get the next number (Document2, etc.). I
saved it and then tried to delete with no luck. I have
also uninstalled Office 2000 and reinstalled it, but the
document does not go away. My virus scan does not pick
it up.

Help!
