embed swf file in html email from outlook 2003

this can't be that hard, but I can't find anything about it. and the page at
slipstick isn't much help for this. I have a swf file that I've got living on
a server already. I just want to create an email with Outlook, that I can
send to a list of friends, which will contain a reference to this swf (with
things like size attributes, etc). I can create an html page in Dreamweaver
(referencing the swf from the web) just fine; the trouble comes when I try to
create an html formatted email in Outlook and I try to insert the raw html
somewhere. since Outlook 2003 is set to create emails in html format, where
do I edit the html code?

You don't. Choose Insert-> File-> select html file-> little dropdown arrow
on Insert button-> Insert as Text to insert large chuncks of HTML code
stored in a file.

FWIW; I believe embedding swf content in an e-mail is blocked for security
reasons.
