Emails stored in my inbox

I want all my emails sent to my inbox. I not sure what I may have changed in
Outlook. Previously all emails (Server, Yahoo, Compusere) were stored in
both their folder and my inbox. When I would open the inbox and read/delete
the mail they would be removed from both folders. Now my Compuserve mail
only shows in the Compuserve folder and no longer gives my the visual
notification of mailed received. Help.

Version of Outlook?
What type of accounts are these? HTTP, POP3, IMAP?

Roady,

Sorry about that! I am using XP Home, Office 2003, and my email accounts
are a POP3 and a IMAP. The POP3 is still working correctly. The IMAP
account is the one that is no longer putting my new email into my inbox.

Thanks.

That is correct behavior. IMAP has its own message store.

Roady,

Thank you. The emails were being stored in both the IMAP folder and my
inbox, now they only appear in my IMAP folder. I think it has something to
do with our company server. When I did a hard line connection with our
server today the emails were again sent to both folders. Thank you for all
your help.
